2014 Rogue S Compustar Remote Start Quetion

Hey everyone! So i have a question about remote starts for my 2014 Rogue S. Last year I called about getting a remote start for my Mother's 2011 Murano and I was told that it was strongly recommended that I have a Nissan dealership install the hardware. I was under the influence that this was because she has a smart key and a push button start. Now, I have a 2014 Rogue with a regular key (not a smart key) and no push start but have been thinking about getting a compustar remote start system. Is it safe to have this installed on my car or are there some problems associated with this?

I can't see why there would be a problem with it. The remote start installer guys that you bring it to should be able to tell you for sure though.
