New here.

Wife has a 2014 Nissan Rogue AWD. The Passenger Dash tweeter is fluttering. Anybody have a write up on how to replace these? I read one post somewhere where some clips have to be replaced when removed as they break.

Any help will do.

Thanks!

Hers doesn’t have the center speaker. She got two dash tweeters in the corners near the A pillar and 4 door speakers.

So, I did a SEARCH and found nothing about tabs breaking. I did however come across this post:

If I remember correctly, on the 1st gen Rogue, the OEM speakers were designed with their own mounting spacers that couldn't be reused. In one of the threads I posted previously, another forum member created his own speaker mounting spacers to install his aftermarket speakers. If Metra doesn't offer speaker adapters for the 2nd gen, it wouldn't be too hard to make your own.
There's nothing special noted in the FSM AV section about the tabs.
