2014 Rogue glove box light?

Is it me, or does the Rogue not come with a light? mine does not seem to have one, which I thought was odd.

You are lucky, I paid 37.000 and didn't get:

-Glove box divider
-Center console tray
-Adjustable rear seat headrests
-An acceptable sound output from rear speakers

This is almost exactly what my wife said when I brought our '14 SL AWD home. 3 months later, she doesn't care about the lower than advertised mpg, or the way the radio randomly shuts down and resets from time to time, or that we still can't get a remote start properly installed without sacrificing a fob - it's the fact that there's no glove box light that really bothers her, lol

I noticed the other things you mentioned as well. Yesterday I was looking at the Nissan logo, waiting for my radio to come back to life. I am not giving up a fob either. I think the thing that drives me crazy the most is the fact that the maintenance indicator doesn't keep track of the mileage between oil changes. Have you noticed that?

I agree with your wife, Von-T. Let's face it, a primitive feature such as a glove box light should be standard and come before all the other bells and whistles. A brand should not put the word "premium" on a product that does not have basic options.

I read on another thread on this forum that the Navi will be soon fixed with a software update. That's fine in my opinion as its software related and some bugs need to be ironed out. Hopefully the same update will take care of the maintenance indicator as well.

Hello, I just purchased a 2015 Rogue SL AWD Premium Pkg and there was no glove box light also. I have an empty square hole where one could be installed. As for the radio randomly restarting, there is a software update available from Nissan. The only way I found out was during a map update and my radio was stuck in a repeating reset cycle after I installed the new SD card with the new map data. I had to take the car to the dealer and they reset the radio and installed the software update (35 minutes). Since then no more random resets. I asked my service tech if the software update is pushed out to vehicle owners and she replied no and the only way to get it is you have to come in with a radio/nav system problem and ask about an update. Hope this helps. I want my glove box light.

Update on the availability of a factory glove box light and the tech in the service department called Nissan and was told that the Rogue 14 and up do not come with a glove box light. They don't even make one so it would have to be an aftermarket install or DIY. That sucks sod aftermarket or DIY I will go.
