Hello,

I was just curious if anyone else noticed on their 2014 Rogue that the rear bumper seems loose or flimsy where it meets the rear wheel well and fender, more-so on the rear passenger side. At first I thought it was broken, but I'm beginning to think they are just built this way and loosen after a couple of months of driving. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Thank you in advance!

Loose like it isn't properly bolted to the steel body panel or loose as in it just flexes a lot?

I guess flexes. It's as if they relied on the shape of the bumper alone to rest against the fender, except mine is not flush so some reinforcement would've been nice. I got under the car and cannot see any loose bolts or anything.

I don't know, mine doesn't do that. It looks like your plastic piece has a break in the bottom? It is hard to tell, my eye sight isn't what it used to be. lol ETA: I have the mud flaps, so that is why mine looks different- I looked at your video again and it still looks like something on the plastic is broken or missing towards the bottom of the inner wheel well.

Lol. The mud flaps would add reinforcement, so that would explain it. I don't see any cracks. The molding is two pieces that meet together. I thought it was cracked at first also, but then I saw the assembly page for the bumper. The mud guard is a solid piece that runs up to the fender, right?
