Just purchased 2014 Rogue 2 days ago, have many questions but wondering on these 2;

1) Is there a way to turn off the DRL's without cutting wires?
2)It seems there is no acc switch?

Welcome.

1 - don't think so

2 - pushing the start button without your foot on the brake should give you ACC on

The acc switch will come on but turns off after 5 minutes.

WoW on the DRL. Gotta be a way. Any idea what kinda bulb that is? Can i just pull the bulb? As pretty as they are, my job has no room for daytime running lights

I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a way. Even on my 2009 Rogue the only way to have the fog lights on are if the headlights are on. That is :bs:

#1. May be there is a fuse dedicated for the DRL's. You can check on the fuse box cover, it should say DRL.
But was wondering why you want to turn off the DRL's. Besides l took nice, it is also enhances safety.
In fact in Canada (and may be in some states in US) the DRL's are mandatory.

Disabling the DRL outside of the USA is generally illegal....because safety.

Saying that...engage the parking brake one click, that's what generally did it on other Nissan models in Canada.

Thank You for the replies, sorry for the late response.

The DRL's are sick & I dig them. However, this is my newest work vehicle in which,I will do surveillance from. So, as beautiful as they are, they are very noticeable to whomever I am following around. Too hard to be non-descript w/those on. So they have to go or at least set to where I can use manually.

About to get under the hood now and look for a solution. Hopefully there is a dedicated fuse to the DRL although I doubt it. Will be 1st on the list. In some of my past vehicles, just pulling the bulb worked or the "one click" on the emergency brake did the job. But in this new vehicle, the emergency break really grabs at one click & I just dont suggest this on new models.

Did find in the Manual, that if you engage the parking brake before you start the vehicle, the DRL's will not come on while your parked. As soon as you release the break to leave, the DRLs come back on.

If I can't just pull the bulb or if it doesn't have a dedicated fuse, I guess last option will be to have an inline switch installed on the dash that will turn off/on manually.

Thanks for the replies. I will let you know how it goes.
