Hello!

I am having issues with my powered drivers seat. I place it in the fully back position and it has a little play in it. I can certainly feel it when I brake hard at a light. The seat moves forward and then goes back. Its subtle but its certainly there. I checked in the FSM but it doesn't give details on how to tighten the seat.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance!

I am not sure how big the bolt size is, but I am sure the bolts that goes to the seats isn't torqued to proper specs or wasn't done properly. More likely, the bolt size should be 14mm or higher, so you should have a set that runs anywhere between 14mm to 20mm.

I had to have my driver seat frame replaced under warranty for this same issue. Basically, the frame was broken and had to be replaced. The dealer implied that this was a common issue for this new model year (2014). Since it has been replaced it has been fine and makes no undue odd noises or has any movement. Being a safety issue, they should (IMHO) have issued a recall on this.

I had the same problem with my 2014 SV. The driver's seat frame was bad. The problem started at 38,000 miles, but only 2.5 years old. My dealer wouldn't replace it under warranty and had me call Corporate. The person I talked to at Corporate was very pleasant and readily agreed to cover the cost under a "customer satisfaction program" (something like that).
