2016 Q70 mirrors on 2012 M37???

Hello fellow M drivers. Quick question..i found a real good deal on a '14,'15 and '16 Q70 Driver Left and Right side mirrors with the signal lights and cameras Will they fit on my 2012 M37x ? I figured since the cars body shape /shell did not change it might be a possible even swap. So is it possible?

I would imagine it would bolt right up...wiring would be the issue.

Really? I would have figured the wiring would be just a plug and play type of scenario. I am surprised no one here has ever done it.

Earlier Y51's didn't come with turn signals in the mirrors, etc. They also didn't have cameras. The body of the car has not changed (other than front/rear bumper and front/rear lights). So I think they'll bolt up fine, but definitely will require work to get them functioning as I can pretty much guarantee there is a few more 'pig tails' on those mirrors than yours.

anyone doing this swap have silver? My drivers side power fold mirror is no longer functioning. Don't know if I can fix it or if it needs replacing. If anyone does this swap and wants to sell me their drivers side, I would be interested.

Not exactly; you'll also have to swap the existing rear view monitor for the all around view monitor, plus you'll need a fourth camera mounted on the front of the car. You'll have to wire the mirrors and front camera to the new monitor, or the correct wiring harness will need to be obtained to tie it all together. You'll also need the front and rear bumper sonar sensors installed and wired to get the audible warning that interfaces with the cameras...and hope all that communicates with your car's existing computer

Buy them they will fit there's a 5 wire difference for the turning signal light and the cameras
I have a m37s 2013 I changed the back to a q70
I haven't put my mirrors on because I been trying to figure out the camera connect I have a q70 harness but I'm missing a few parts
You can make the lights work or just cut those 5 wires every other function should work
I payed $500 on eBay for the set
