Hello all looking for some help here
I have the traction light on all the time on my dash it doesn't go off even when i clear all codes or take battery off
sometimes while driving the abs light and the brake light go on but then go off, it seems like when i drive more aggressively is when the abs and brake light go on
no drivability issues and when scanned i am getting u1000 and u 1001
its a 2014 infiniti q40 no mods or work done
i checked most of the grounds, none were bad but i cleaned them up anyway
the only thing i found was a bit of green on the top connector on the bcm due to a leak from the sunroof
i cleaned up the plug and terminals and plugged back in but still same thing
my next thing tomorrow is to open the BCM and see if its corroded inside
but any other help on this issue is appreciated thanks

You need to get a full scan of all the systems in the car. You'll have an ADAS module onboard and a lot of other hardware which can affect the ABS, so a cheap scanner or parts store scan probably won't give you the whole story. The U codes mean something is offline, and the ADAS and a ton of other stuff will be inside the car. So "a little green" in the SMJ connectors is all it will take to make a big mess. You need to find out exactly who is supposed to be talking but isn't.

The Solus should do the job, but you need to hit the manual whenever all you get is U codes. There's a comm chart on LAN-22 here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual ... %2Flan.pdf

The problem with U1000's is that they're thrown by the receiver, but they tell you nothing about who the transmission is. So when a system is absent, you go through the chart for each system throwing the U code and find all the instances where it's a receiver. Then you identify whether each transmission is present on your scanner. Once you find the missing transmission, you can investigate why it isn't transmission.
