Just got this puppy home and thought I could do an aftermarket roof rack as they suggested at the dealer but cannot find a decent rack to carry the luggage pod on my roof it seems the front to back rails are needed? any ideas are appreciated my 2011 had the rails and this S model does not plus the new one is pretty cushy compared to my 11 :chuckle:
 :wtf2:

Some folks here have retrofitted the factory rails, usually from Pick and Pull.

And Yakima and Thule probably have a kit to add their cross bars, though not with the nice fore and aft positioning
of the factory rails. I used the Yakima kit on my '87. I did three bars, forward, midships, and aft. I've been able
to use the cross bars on my '95 and '01, so they have ended up earning their keep.

The Yakima bars generate some wind noise (and I suspect a bit MPG cost) so I only put them on when I need them.

Chuck
