2014 Pathfinder 3rd brake light works- lower 2 do not

Hello and thanks for your help,
so my brake lights are not working when i hit brakes, just the third brake light works. ive check all the fuses and the bulbs look good, what else could it be? need some help before i get pulled over and get a ticket. thanks in advance.

Same situation with my GF Qx a while back, it was the bulbs. When you say the bulbs look good, do they also work as the tail lights? Could what you're seeing be the filament for that function? The reason they sell bulbs in pairs is that since they have the same life expectancy, typically when one goes, the other is not long after (and you should replace both irrespective.)
