Recently I replaced headlights with HID. Was working fine for 2 month. Now , here is what happening:

- both headlights work fine when engine is on
- when I turn off the engine driver side headlight goes off (suppose to stay on for few minutes), passenger side stays on as suppose to

what could be the problem?

Thank you!

Did you install aftermarket HID's? the problem is probably with the electronics of them.

Yes, aftermarket.
By the way, I forgot to mention that I plugged back its original light bulb, but issue still persist.
So it's definitely not HID.

I see, well your vehicle should still be under factory warranty, correct? if so I would just have the dealer figure out the issue.

But, you probably shouldn't mention that you had previously installed aftermarket HID's or they might void the warranty on the repair.

Yes, it still under warranty. That`s my backup plan.

I just want to find out with your help what could be wrong.
