Hello everyone,

Just picked up my new Nissan this weekend! very happy!!

Unfortunately it did not come with a couple accessories I'd like to pickup.

Illuminated Kick Plates - Can this be installed on my own?
Cargo Net
Cargo Area all weather Protector

**not sure**
Interior Accent Lighting

Does anyone know where I can get the best pricing on these items?

Thanks

The Kick Plates can be done yourself depending on how handy you are. Install instructions can be found here http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/Home.aspx under Accsessory Instructions.

Google yourself around for the best price. You could ask the dealer to sell to you for their cost and get the install done by them, considering you just bought their (that can work sometimes).

The new 2014 X-Trail is the same Rogue. So any mods you find for x-trail will work on Rogue. Here's the proof:

There's about 100 accessories available online. Plenty of oem you can find on nissanusa.com and get it cheaper somewhere else like everythingnissan.com, ebay, leeparts.com etc. carid.com offers a lot of aftermarket kits. It really depends what you looking for like lights upgrade, performance etc. Here's example of some ACC available online:

leeparts.com offers good pricing and everythingnissan.com sometimes offers 10% if you call them and tell them you are nicoclub.com member.

From my dealer, when i purchased my rogue i requested the window deflectors be tossed in the deal for free. At the time they were listed as a accessory for the 14 rogue. So my dealer order a set and NissanUSA sent them a set for a 13 and said to try them to see if they fit since they are not in production yet (they didnt fit). When they told me this, i was pissed off that they advertised a product that's not available which resulted in me getting $100 bucks in free service or parts. so they are waiting for them to come available to order still. The Customer Service Director who works for Nissan corp contacted me as well, during our conversation she mention that she is dealing with a another customer to purchased a SV and is waiting for fog lights because they aren't available yet either as a add-on.

I like to vouch for any rear tube protection. It was one of my first purchases, and I am happy to say that I never been rear-ended in the nearly 4 1/2 years of owning my Rogue. Yes, it may be ugly, but a scenario of getting tapped in a parking lot, seeing chipped paint on your back bumper, dents, or rear-ended. The ugly factor is not as bad. The first dent always sucks.

In my mind, I believe nobody wants to ruin their beautiful bumper on some round steel tube. It looks more serious than its bite, instead of a solid steel crowbar like pipe of steel, it's just a hollow decorative tube hoping to deceive folks that its tougher than it really is. :domo:

This is the reason I got the front protection ever since some A-hole in a truck happen to back up into my NEW front bumper and destroyed my license protector and chipped my paint. How hard is it to drive FORWARD out of a parking space folks??? I was parked behind facing their tail section. So yah, the pissed-off factor was another reason I got my Rogue surrounded by tubes. :soap:

I had to be pro-active at this point. Never been hit in the front or back since. :naughty:

They only have the front mats available right now, the rear should be ready in 3-4 weeks when I recently checked. Not sure about the rear cargo, haven't asked about that.
