I've had popping noises in low-speed braking and light acceleration situations since purchased new. No issues with tire wear, tracking or handling. In my CVT TCM free reprogramming dealership visit yesterday, I mentioned this since I'd seen some complaints/TSB notices online. They identified that there is an issue with the front springs (will be replaced under my extended warranty since I'm outside the normal 3yr/36K mile factory warranty) but the TSB recommends also replacing the front top strut bearings, frame isolators/bushings and some other parts to bring it all back to correct operation. Cost (including my $100 deductible) will be ~$320 after working with me to get the cost down a bit. They had to order the parts (about one week) and when I get the itemized list, I'll post the total tally of replacement parts.
Lesson to learn: If you have an issue, don't ignore it (I hate going to the dealer) and get it checked out as ALL of this would have been fully covered under the factory warranty had I taken it in!
