Is that page sanctioned by Nissan though? If not, meh...

LOL at it being slower than the passat CC. Slower at producing check engine lights, perhaps.

Friend of mine just picked up a 2012 SR MT last night (female by the way). She asked me about the car first because she knew I had one. Mentioned to me yesterday afternoon that she knew the sedan was being remodelled and didnt want to buy the AC if it was going to be too in the near future. I said it was being kept quite hush at the moment. Now this. Haha! Figures...

I'd trade my 08 coupe for a Volkswagen CC in a heartbeat if I knew the reliability was really better than the Audi I had previously. But I know it's not, and I know VW is still ignoring a lot of DSG issues. I'll just be glad to pay this one off and not have payments for a while.

I can't help but wonder if the new Altima platform could be the base platform for a new, re-named coupe? From what I can tell, the new chassis would make for a solid sport coupe (2+2) to augment the current Z.

Guess the market analysis doesn't support it, just look at the Mustang, Camaro, Challenger and other couple sales! :wtf2:

Will there be a 2014 Accord Coupe?
I'm not so sure if I want to see a 2014 AC.. I mean, would you buy another Altima Coupe? Why not move to something more sporty, a new Silvia perhaps? or even the current BRZ..

The A/C is forever FWD, roomy, and practical. It will never turn into a Toyobaru competitor (Essentially a 2-seater... I climbed in the back of one, you can only fit if you have no feet)

The best we can hope for is a face lift. I hope we get it, considering how good the new sedans look.

For someone looking for an econo-coupe, the A/C is excellent. Don't forget that you can only seat 5 comfortably with FWD.

^^ I think the new sedans look worse than the old ones.. I don't like the grill or the tail lights. My brother got one though, the interior is super nice.

I feel the same, they're average at best. It's like they copied the Hyundai then Nissan got lazy and copied the styling cues from the Altima over to all of their new line of cars.

i agree..they made the new sedan less sporty and more like a car for my mom than anything. the deal breaker for me was that they took away the sport shift option that has been a signature feature of every altima and A/C

Sorry guys, but I have to say this - if the Altima Coupe must be sacrificed in order to have a BRZ/Toyobaru competitor, then I'm ok with that.

If Nissan is killing it for the sake of killing it (Nissan doesn't typically do this unless it's hurting the bottom line in some way) then I will be disappointed. The AC is one of the few decently exciting cars Nissan has in its lineup right now.

If it's out of production for sure, I am now officially bummed that mine is gone. I had the perfect setup in that car. I really wish my brother would have bought it from me.

Can't say I'm surprised as you almost have to give them away it seems. Got my 08 SE a few months ago real cheap to flip, and now I know why. I can't sell it at any reasonable price either.
