A cheap mod for those interested in adding more storage to their 2014/15 Rogue Armrest:

Did you know prior to 2011 the was a basic insert available (although this one looks a bit more functional).

As you can tell by the pics it's a much needed extra storage/shelf that sits within the centre console.
Got it from here : 2014 NISSAN central storage for $15US.
Didn't know that such an insert was available for prior models.

Wouldn't that interfere with the built-in top shelf/area that already exists? At least when you actually put something in that new storage tray?

Nope..if you look underneath the lid, there are two tabs. Press one and it will open the lid just to the top shelf. Press the other tab and it will open the lid to include the top shelf giving you access to the add-on shelf.

I guess it depends on what type of stuff you would intend to put in it. The bottom of the top shelf would interfere once you have much of anything that wasn't very flat.

After seeing this thread, I ordered the item. It said it would take it about 6 weeks to arrive (from China) but I got it in a little more than a week. I love it. It fits like a glove, and it has compartments for coins, a pen, ostensibly a cell phone, etc. None of which are too bulky. Also, I keep a full sized cube kleenex box in the bottom compartment of my armrest storage area, and this thing didn't interfere with it at all. This is a really neat item for dirt cheap.

Just got mine yesterday and it was a perfect fit. Only took a week and a half via plane and USPS. Also it does not interfere with the control knob for the factory footwell lights I just installed myself. 2015 SL AWD Rogue Premium Pkg.

No it won't fit your Rogue. It will only fit model years 2014 and up.
