My dash temp gauge stays on C when stopped. When up to speed it goes to normal position. Then stop, it drops to C. Anyone have any ideas? It blows heat and AC fine. Was recently jump started and battery was replaced.

When you speed up, the water pump speeds up and starts moving coolant around more, so you might check the coolant level. If it's low, the temp sensor can send intermittent values and cause the gauge to jump around. This is quite common immediately after flushing the cooling system on some cars until all the air is purged from the system.

Could be stat sticking slightly open.

my 13 sentra usually stays on cold until i drive it....on the winter months...you can start it, run for 15 minutes to clear the windows..and it will remain on cold (temp gage)...as soon as you start driving, it warms up fast to normal

it does not go back to cold unless you turn off the car for a while
