2013 Rogue. Horn will not honk

The key fob horn button works just fine, but the buttons on the steering wheel will not activate the horn. Any members have a suggestion what could be the issue? Thank you in advance for your help.

This is usually caused by a bad horn switch in your steering wheel.

Warning: Most modern vehicles have the horn switch attached to the top of the airbag shroud. If handled improperly, the airbag can deploy with lethal force. For this reason, only trained professionals should attempt horn switch repair on airbag-equipped vehicles. Do not attempt to do it yourself if this applies to your vehicle.

Is your airbag light on also? Any other steering wheel controls not working? Rogue One is correct you do not want an airbag going off in your face.
