I have a Nissan Rogue, 2013, 4cyl front wheel drive, automatic, took it in for alignment today, it was off by >1 degree toe, caster and camber acceptable (though it wouldn't matter because the tech said there is no adjustment for the front). Toe was adjusted as well as rear camber. During the drive home the car was steering nice and straight on the roads, however this time I noticed the pull to the left occurred when applying acceleration.

TIA,
Cyggie

Was anything done before this happened? Was the vehicle running straight before the alignment? Why did you got an alignment? Was the brakes touched or any work done on the front brakes?

Thanks for your questions Otto, The vehicle was pulling to the left since about September. My wife only just informed me of this. My first thought was to have it evaluated by my long time alignment tech, who promptly got it within tolerances. After the alignment it became more obvious that the pull to the left was because of something occurring during acceleration. Nobody has worked on the car prior to this alignment other than the standard maintenance by Nissan Techs. No brake work was performed. Car tracks straight during braking operations.
Come to think of it... It could have occurred when the car was towed due to my brother in law losing the car for driving with no license. The car was towed.

check tire pressure. even 5psi off in one tire can make a huge difference

my issue back in the day was because I had a brake caliper sticking but you said they were fine... see if your spring is compromised or your control arm out of whack... you said you had it towed, from my limited knowledge I would guess your frame could be bent.. hopefully it's not that.... well my friend - that's all I have... good luck...

You mentioned that it was towed. The tyres could have been damaged. Try this swap the left front to the right front. If it pulls to the right after swapping you found your problem. It happened to a friend of mine when she bought the a vehicle used. Then she changed the tires. Problem solved. The tire shop mentioned that the belt is bad inside the tire. I hope this helps. Let us know.

I have a customers 10 here that is pulling left on accel, and when you let off it takes about 5 seconds to settle back down and go back straight. Lower control arms have been changed. Slip light is on, and steering wheel is a little off, along with the front tires are wiped on the outer edge. Its getting new tires and an alignment today for a start, then we will see I guess.

Worn inner cv joints can cause this.

I know it is a long shot but... any chance you're still around? What was the issue?
