For some reason, none of my 4 doors locks will work. I have to manually lock/unlock my car. I’ve heard of one not working... but all 4?? At the same time?

Any ideas?

TIA,

It happens. The solution is the same for all four locks as it is for one lock failing, head back to the dealership. Your BCM (Body Control Module) needs to be reprogrammed to accept the signal from your key fobs. As your vehicle is a good 10 years old there's a possibility that the BCM may need to be replaced.

Key FOB battery dead?

Typically the master control on the drivers door controls all four doors and a failure there means the others are unlikely to work also.

So do you think I should purchase a new battery for my key FOB first? Or do you think it's the a master fuse?

Go with the cheapest option first. New battery for the key FOB.

Link to the FSM so you can check out what's involved in removal, replacement and troubleshooting.

Sweet, thanks! I hope it's just a battery issue :)

I just realized - it can't be the battery in the key FOB because the alarm will work when i put it on and off. When on, and I open the door, the alarm goes off. It's just that the door locks will NOT work with the key FOB

Change the battery anyway.

You won't be happy with yourself if you take this to the dealer spend $3-400 in the process and it turns out to be a $2 battery

This started happening when my 09 was about 7 yo. First the driver side rear door power lock stopped functioning, then driver side front. Ran me into $600-800 each b/c they just don't do a solenoid anymore, it has to be the entire assembly. Also a brake job was coming up and the shocks were not doing all so well, so I just sold it for a downpayment on a new one.
So, yes, I would say power locks can. be an issue, it's just very unusual that it all happened at once. May be a controller issue or something like that.

If that ever happened, that would put a big fat -S in stealership.

It definitely would show one corrupt organization.

That guy from Renault must of found a job there! :rotfl
