I just bought a 2013 Rogue. I am having trouble getting it to keep my phone contacts in the bluetooth. When I set-up my phone (Samsung Note 2) it finds the phone and loads the contacts. Next time I start the car, it again finds my phone but the contacts are no longer in the phonebook. I have even tried manual enter but that option is not avilable. The bluetooth tells me that I can go to phonebook and say the command "Transfer Entry". When I try that it tells me it's not a valid command. Even if I am parked.

Nissian has my phone listed as a compatible blueetooth device for the car.

Any suggestions. :gotme

I won't be much help for you. Are you trying (is there even a way) to store contact information in the Rogue (and, if so, I'm not sure what Bluetooth would have to do with it).

I use the bluetooth with an iPhone and everything works fine. It's usually able to identify the contact with voice recognition (i.e. call John Smith), especially if I try to sound like a robot!

Try installing this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... utoconnect
Also, heres a thought...
I just checked my phone book and they are all first name last name. I remember having a similar problem when I first got my CC where some names were first last and some were last first. I figured out that there was a setting in outlook that determined how names are displayed. once I set that to display first last and re synced my address book all was well

I will try the Bluetooth Autoconnect app. Hopefully that will work. Interesting thing is the Bluetooth in the car finds the contacts list the first time. I can even make calls based on my contacts. Such as "Call Bob". When I shut the car off and they are gone.

OK here's whats happening. After starting the car, the car finds my phone and then sends a request to the phone. I have a message on my phone telling me that "My Car" is requesting to download the contacts from the phone. Click OK and the contacts are avliable to the phone. I have to do this everytime I get in the car.

Wonder why it just can't remember I clicked OK the frist time. It would be nice if it had something like "Always allow this application to download the contacts."

I wonder if the phone has a security setting that will allow the "My Car" to automaticly download the contacts without having to tell it that it's OK everytime.

If you try the app and it still fails to retain your phone book, there's a possibility that you have a defective head unit. If that's the case, the dealership will replace it for free under your warranty. The USB port on my last Rogue was bad, so they replaced the head unit without hesitation (and I had purchased the car from another dealership).
