2013 Nissan Sentra SR Mag Sizes

Hello everyone,

I hope that you can help me. I just purchased my 2nd Nissan, my first was a Micra back in the 1990's... anyways, I just got a 2013 Nissan Sentra SR. I was looking for a set of spare rims, for my winter tires, when I came across a set of 4 2004 Nissan Maxima Mags.

According to www.wheel-size.com;

Rims for Nissan Sentra 2013

Bolt pattern 5x114.3
Diameter: 15.0'' - 17.0'';
Width (inches): 5.5 - 6.5;
Offset (mm): 40 - 45.
and

Rims for Nissan Maxima 2004

Bolt pattern 5x114.3
Diameter: 16.0'' - 18.0'';
Width (inches): 6.5 - 7.5;
Offset (mm): 35 - 55.

My tires are Yokohama 205/50R17.

Does anyone know if I can use the 2004 Maxima Mags on my 2013 Sentra? I figure that the Bolt pattern, Centre Bore, Diameter and Widths look okay, but what about the offset? My Sentra have a positive offset of 45mm and the Maxima has a positive offset of 35mm. Will that 10mm cause the tire to rub the fender lip?

Offset (mm): 40 - 45.

The standard Rim information is, 6.5Jx17 ET45 (width 6.5 inches, diameter of 17 inches and a positive offset of 45mm)

Has anyone tried using 7 inch or 7.5 inch Rims? According to their Rim & Tire Size Calculator... it should fit. Does ANYONE KNOW FOR SURE?
