2013 Nissan Sentra Pillar Finisher Removal Help

I am trying to install new tweeters in a 2013 Nissan Sentra, and cannot find any information for removing the front pillar finishers to get the old tweeters out and to install the new tweeters. At the top of the new pillars are plastic green clips that will release enough to get a look behind the plastic, but will not release all the way. I have attempted to pull on them as much as I am comfortable doing, but they will not release from the pillar.
Has anyone seen these green clips before? Any idea on how to get them to release? I'm not sure if the pictures will show up in the post so I have included the links to the pictures below. The top picture is the top of the clip, the bottom is taken from the bottom of the clip:

What the hell? lol Welcome to NICO. I've never seen anything like that before. Have you tried pulling down the head liner a little to see how they are attached on the other end?

use some long needle nose plyers and grab the clips and then turn 90 degrees. Those are ment to keep the finisher from shooting off at you in a wreck when th curtain bags come out
