I have almost 900 miles on my rogue and I got the check engine light on few days ago.

After a trip the the dealer I was told my throttle body has failed and they had to order the parts.

My question is, is it safe to drive my car before it gets the new throttle body. I had to drive my car home today and will need to drive to the dealer again in few days.

Is this a serious problem? Is it common to the 2013 rogue like they told me? Will throttle body failure cause any other damages that I should be worried about?

Thanks

if they let you drive it - anything that happens is on them. the throttle body lets in air - thats its. there are many sensors on there that help control air/fuel mixtures. its not anything to really worry about. it might stall on you - at worst.
