Hello, I have a 2013 Quest that I just bought. The power sliding and power rear doors will not work unless the car is running. Any thoughts on what my be causing it? The dash switch for the doors is on.

Thanks
Randy

There's a 10A fuse (#9) in the interior fusebox that supplies battery logic power to all three controllers. Power for the door actuators and motors is on a separate circuit, so if #9 is blown but the ignition fuse #3 is good, the doors will work but all the controllers will only wake up when the ignition is on.

Thanks, I checked both fuses and they were both working. The fuses box cover had a mark by each of those fuses. When I plugged the one fuse back in, I could hear noise by the power doors.

Thanks
Randy

The Quests are sort of red-headed stepchildren, but you might try looking in the vehicle settings menu to see what options there are for the power doors. If all three controllers have power, then it sounds like some sort of software override. Looking through the OM might help too, they often hide functional stuff in there that they don't tell technicians about or put in the service manual.
