I have a question I'd like to toss around: I have a 2013 Frontier with the 2.5 4-cyl. We have been having a lot of rain here in South Texas and last Monday most of the streets and highways were not draining well. Long story short, I got water into the engine compartment. Anyway, two days later I go out to the truck and my odometer light is on, and the key is not even in the ignition. And my gauges were powering on and off. Then my check engine light came on. I have it in the shop now (independent garage), but I'd be interested if any of you have had this same problem, and what may be the cause of this. And what is the best fix for this? Appreciate any advice!!!!!

I know its an old thread.. but what was the outcome of your issue?

..never had the issues but drove thru some good puddles in some rainstorms.. in '11 Xterra (the SUV version of the Frontier, mechanically same)
