I hope someone can clarify this. I just bought a used 2013 Nissan Frontier SV, V6. I am going through everything because I don't trust the used car dealer to do anything right. This concerns the 5-speed auto transmission dipstick. Mine has one. Some owners report they don't have a dipstick. The Owner's Manual says nothing about a dipstick. The 2013 Service Manual says nothing about a dipstick and in fact shows a different way to check fluid level. I don't have any guide on how to check the fluid level using the dipstick since Nissan pretends it does not exist. I'm suppose to go to the Nissan dealer. Do all 2013 Frontier's have an automatic transmission dipstick? Is there a documented procedure on how to check the fluid level with the dipstick?
