Hello Everyone:

I am new to the forum. I am picking up a new 2013 M37 sport later this month. I have done quite a bit of browsing and thread searching to determine how to approach the 20" vs 22" wheel dilemma. I know that the sport model rides harder than the base, and my concern with the 22" wheels is that it will destroy the quality ride that I am paying for. Then again, the pics of the 22's on M37's look incredible.

If there are any owners of M37 sports that have put on 22's, I would love to know what your experience has been and whether the ride quality has suffered. Thank you in advance-- I really appreciate it!

Typically you throw on the larger wheels with a good set of lowering springs so ride harshness would be increased. I think after the initial euphoria of having awesome wheels wears off you'll be pissed that you didn't go with 20's or even 19's. It still looks cool without the super harshness feeling. I mean you'll feel the smallest rock you run over

I love my 20s. bumps are a bit more noticeable but the handling is much better in my opinion having driven on the 18s with 50 series tires for a while and then 18s on Eibachs and 20s with 40 series tires on Eibachs now. I look at it from a performance perspective in addition to the look. I wouldn't go with 22s because the extra harshness of the ride isn't going to translate to much better handling if any. It might look cool parked but that's about it. Just my 2 cents.
