Hello all. I have a few questions about my new purchase.

2013 M37 Premium Package (white with dark brown interior)

Is the difference with premium package vs sport package just the suspension with 4 wheel steer? Car already has the 20inch wheels.

I will eventually lower the car with springs. Will I have an alignment issue?

Any members have pics of just springs on a non sport model?

I did a quick search and liked how the RSR springs sit, but not sure about the alignment..

any other tips you guys can recommend will be greatly appreciated.

couple more cosmetic differences:
Sport Brakes (arguably better than regular OEM ones); Sport Grille and different front fascia; Aluminum Pedals; Sport Bucket Seats; Steering Wheel Gear Shift Paddles

You can look at the "What did you do to your M37/M56/Q70 Today?" thread and see what other guys have done to their rides...

What I've done:
1. added OEM mud guards
2. changed all interior lights to LEDs
3. changed front turn signals to Triton V3s, rear turn signals to LEDs
4. changed fogs to 3000k LEDs
5. changed parking lights to LEDs
6. changed headlight housing side marker bulb to LEDs
7. changed engine cover to carbon fiber one
8. added some dress up washers to engine bay
9. added front tower strut bar
10. added dampening material all 4 interior door panels
11. wired up Escort SmartRadar to rearview mirror power with Blendmount
12. added some aftermarket front floor mats

welcome to NICO, you're gonna love the car

These cars do not come with adjustable camber from the factory. If you are only lowering with replacement coils you should be fine. If you are going lower with adjustable coil-overs you can either deal with the uneven tire wear or add aftermarket parts front and rear to correct the camber. The amount of uneven tire wear is based on how low you choose to go and how you drive.

Again if you are only lowering the car a small amount with replacement coil springs, you should be fine.

Wish it was lowered - it is stock ride height. Would like it come down at least 1 - 1 1/2 inches ideally. I have never done coils or coil overs myself, but would love to learn. Just don't have that kind of money to spend on the ride right now, so unless I do the work, it prolly won't happen in the next 12 months.

OEM mudguards DO come painted to match.

You can always look into lowering springs... although people complain about the front end not lowering as much as the back once the springs settle. There are a few pros and cons to both. For example, coilovers have a less life span and might need rebuilding after so many miles.

Thanks, I will keep looking for springs, not a fan of coilovers..
