Hello,

I have a 2013 Infiniti JX35 and am getting the P1778 code which tells me the CVT is going away. I have the CVT with aluminum oil pan with fins (not sure of the exact model). Does anyone know if there is an upgraded CVT that I should look for? What's the best place to get them from? I want to see if it's worth to get it fixed or should I get rid of it. I'm in SoCal.

Welcome!

The CVT was revised in the 2014 model year, IIRC, so you may want to start there but I'm not CVT fan/expert so take that with a grain of salt!
