2013 Frontier Electrical Problems

I am having trouble with a short of some sort. Occasionally my blue tooth goes out and when I bump the dash it will come back on and my back up camera goes in an out. I have also lost some of the dash lights and then they come back on........... Any clues how to fix this?

It sounds like something is loose like a ground wire or shorted to the chassis. You can tear into the dash to look for any wires touching the metal parts of the chassis or dash reinforcements. You can use the Factory Service Manual to diagnose electrical issues and identify wires. I'd look at the back up camera system and it's wires and see which ones are directly behind the dash (where hitting it seems to work), then I'd take a close look at those wires.

Hopefully it's a wire issue and not a failing component like a BT receiver part or something expensive.

Here's a link to that FSM, use the FWD chapter to find your other chapters. The AV chapter has information about bluetooth on page 99 and the camera on page 106 and diagnosing the power supply and grounds on page 70 and then 53... I think.
