Hey Guys,

I shaved my emblems off today. It wasn't hard at all. I'm assuming because it's a '13 model and they weren't sitting for years on the car. A quick overview on how I did it.

I used dental floss to remove the emblems. (Any Dental Floss with work)

Then use your fingers to remove the 3M tape thats still on there. (Don't use your nails, you may scratch your car)

Then I used Turtle wax Label & Sticker Remover (Safe to use on cars)

Then I finally used Turtle wax rubbing compound. Use a soft detail sponge with this.

Then finally here's the result. No ghosting, or scratches. It looks flawless.

Yeah it's a breeze on a new car. Did mine a while back. Left only the Nissan burger. It looks a lot better and less cluttered.

I'm a new Altima owner and haven't removed emblems from any of my other Nissans before...If I shave off the emblems but later want to reattach them, how do I go about doing that?

Super easy. The emblems are attached with double sided 3M tape. You can find them on eBay, and they're not expensive. Just peel and stick.
