Just out of curiosity, how do a get to the cabin filter on my wife's 2013 Altima?

I got to my daughter's 2009, but it was a real bugger to get in and out. I am hoping that the 13 will prove to be easier to do, otherwise.....screw it LOL

I think you are the first to ask! My guess is that its in the same area. NICO doesn't have the Factory Service Manual yet on the 2013. I'll look into getting that posted.

Thanks,

The dealership wants $75 for replacement, I know the element itself can be purchased under $10

I changed the one on the 09, but it was a nasty job requiring several panels and a hand full of screws to be removed. Not a great design compared to my Toyota 4Runner.

Please post what you find, I really appreciate it.

i just yanked the cabin filter from my wife's 09 as well.
no unscrewing required, but was difficult to grasp the filter to pull it out. next time i'll use needle nose pliers.

The procedure is similar to the 4 gen.
