They are going to hit a home-run with this one.

It's not spectacular in any way.. Honestly it does nothing for me..
But, it's a mid-size sedan that gets 38 mpg highway and costs only $21,500. It's perfect for the US market right now. People will drive Civics, Cruze's, Corolla's and half a dozen other small cars and find out they can get a big car that gets just as good mpgs for the same or less money..

I hope they make lots of money so they can keep investing in the electric cars and continue to completely forget about making anything remotely fun to drive. yeah.. boo.. snore.

I really like the way it looks. Is there any definitive news if Nissan is going to stop production of the coupe? If the sedan looks this good, I'd be excited to see what the coupe will look like.

Coupe is still on the road map. No redesign for 2013 though.

I was at the Auto Show yesterday, and I really like the new Altima a lot. But I've also liked the previous designs as well. I've owned a 96, a 2006,and a 2009. I switched to a Rogue in 2011, and the wife switched to a Cube, but I have to say that gas being what it is, I'd strongly consider the new Altima next time around. (I have a short attention span on cars)

It's doesn't stand out at all, actually it's probably more conservative looking than the current model. But it's very classy and a great value, and the lines in person are just gorgeous. I do wish that Nissan offered it with a stick in some version though. I'm going through withdrawals of not having a stick to drive anymore, and I noticed that Ford is going to offer the new Fusion SE 1.6 Ecoboost with a 6 spd manual, and that definitely got my attention.

But I think a better idea is to stick with the Nissan's I love and talk the better half into letting me get an old mid 90's Z car with a stick for a nice weather weekend ride...lol
