Early rumors indicate that Nissan will eliminate the Versa sedan, and offer an entry level Sentra that is comparable to an entry level Versa hatch.

I spoke with my Nissan friend he said they will be offering a remodeled Sentra and that the sketch that Nissan has out is not the Versa but according to another site----> http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2011 ... debut.html
They claim this will be the new 2012 version..

Then my friend went on to say that there will be a Sentra SER running the Jukes 1.6T , so guess we will have to see when the New York Auto Show April 22-May 1

I also want to see the final production model of the Toyota FT-86 that is being branded as a Scion FR-S----> http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2010 ... 25000.html

Those online sites have really no clue and are just blindly guessing.

The Versa in North America is linked with the Tiida. The Tiida will remain a hatchback.

The Hatch sketch looks much better, would love to see the real thing.

I guess they are going to do away with the C platform for the Sentra and just use it for the Rogue. The Sunny on the B platform will be the new Sentra for North America. They can release the hatch version of this new Sunny and call it a Versa; OR they can freshen up the current Tiida and make it look more appealing and call it the new Versa (hatch). Nissan needs to get it right and produce a winner or they'll lose market share to the Koreans and their Japanese rivals, who also are about to release their new models. Ain't competition great?
