Hi, I need help and advise I have a Takeda short ram that I bought from versaspeed and I tried installing it on my 2012 SL hatch and everything seems to be ok until I shifted the car. The intake pipe hits my brake reservoir. I tried turning the pipe and experimented but it still hits. Then i noticed that on my versa the brake cap is bigger from my friend's 2008 versa S. I have ABS that's what he said that is why my reservoir cap is bigger. I tried pulling the pipe a little bit out from the throttle body and it does clear a little better but when I tighten the clamps the pipe will fall off because there is not much to hold on to. Please help if there is anybody had this same problem and a solution. Right now I still have my AEM CAI on the car, but I would like to use the SRI.

That's what I have right now. Just little scared of hydrolocking my engine, because it happened on my 93' Integra, my nephew borrowed it and messed up the engine. Had to go get a new engine, but then again it got stolen and never found it. hahaha. Thanks though. I am actually selling the Takeda SRI since i made up my mind to keep the AEM.

Where are you selling it? On this site or somewhere else. I would be curious to know what you would like for it

Suggestion:

AEM intake has two pieces of pipe. You can just remove the lower piece that goes down to the wheel-well and attach the airfilter to the top piece. I believe it can neatly rest on a little perch that's there (forget exactly where that is, just that it's there.) Should work fine as an SRI.
