2012 Sentra SE-R. Your Thoughts?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Whats up Sentrafolk?

Long story short, my GF is in the market for a new ride and through very quick research it seems she can get a loaded '12 SE-R at a very reasonable price.

Looking for opinions and overall feelings from owners on their NEW Sentra experience. Anything else that is NEW in her price range and also her style (not mine) isnt cutting it VS the Sentra for her. She thought about Gen Coupe but its just a tad out of her budget. Although, if the price warrants a better experience she might pull the trigger.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I'm a fan. The B16 with the 2.5 is a solid car, and handles very well (despite its top-heavy appearance). In fact, the preproduction models we drove in 07 outperformed a lightly-modded B15 in all areas.

Thank you sir.

Anything else you would recommend? Looking for $225-$275/month lease payments with about $2,000 down.

I was in the same boat... actually test drove a couple Genesis coupes too... but eventually ended up with the Spec. I was harder pressed to make a decision though, and I knew that I'd burn a lot more gas in the Genesis. I still want one, but the Spec is just as nice as a DD.
