2012 Sentra can't shift into park

I got home from camping and driving on a rough dirt road, and now my 2012 Sentra (auto-trans.) won't shift INTO park.
I've read plenty of posts on this and other sites about not being able to shift out of park. And they usually say something like, use the shift lock button, or check the shift lock relay (not sure if my car has one, at least not near the shifter), or check the
I've tried using the shift lock button but it does nothing. I've checked a few fuses, I can't figure out which one might control it. The brake lights work OK.
I have the console side panels off, but can see anything obviously broken.
Any ideas?

Solved! The shift selector button assembly had a broken piece of plastic in it that prevented the button from depressing completely. The FSM came in handy for disassembly. I removed the broken piece of plastic and it works like new.
