I love my new 2012 Rogue. It is Frosted Steel in color. Recently I added chrome window trim, window vents, and a walnut burl dash kit all purchased from carid.com. My Rogue is an SV with the SL package.

Great thing about the wood dash is that it hides the dust better from what I can tell. :mike

Also that exterior blue is probably better than hiding dust than my indigo blue. :chuckle:

Great ride.

Here are some more pics of the dash kit and a link:

There is a slender piece that is over the speedometer area, but I couldn't get a good photo of it. The back door handles also have the wood trim.

My car interior is charcoal, but it still looks great with this trim. My seats are lighter gray.

Thanks! loved the wood trim!!!

I might go with a little more darker color since I have black interior and seats are black leather!

I'll get the chrome window trims too :D

This is the darkest that Sherwood makes in genuine wood. (It has a really good glossy seal on it too.) It compares to a friend's new Mercedes wood interior. You might try to see one if possible.

Good luck and enjoy!

Beautiful dash and great looking car, I have a new one also but decided to go with the SV model.

I wish they would offer automatic headlights on the other models..that's the one thing I don't understand not being included since I have almost everything else on my SV.

Much better look with the wood trim. Is it difficult to put on precisely?
I also notice that the color of the seat and lower half of steering is changed to white. Did you do it after-market?

Looks good Nick2010. Same question as Honva, do those snap on or with 3m tape?

Thanks for all of the feedback. Yes, I did everything just recently after market. My nephew-in-law did this for me. He does a lot of this kind of thing with his own cars. The parts come all cut out to fit, and with 3M adhesive.

I also ordered this product for some added insurance that everything went well - and it did.
http://www.carid.com/install-marker/adh ... 36441.html

I think this along with using 3M Prep Solvent-70, which is suggested, and taking your time gives the best result.

The seats and everything are standard (light gray seats, dark charcoal interior). We added the wood interior from: http://www.carid.com/2012-nissan-rogue- ... 72090.html

*It just looks white because of the camera flash. Silver and black standard gear shift, etc.

Good luck.

I purchased 2D-4244 Nissan Rogue, 2011 - UP, Fits All Models With And Without Navigation, Without Factory Wood, Kit PCS 15

There is a difference in the size of the navigation screen area so you have to be sure to talk to the salesman about which number to order. Also, when you click Customize Application, then click on Layout Tab. You will see what the kit looks like.

It will depend on the year of your Rogue I'm sure and whether or not it has navigation.

15 pieces were plenty for me so I chose Sherwood 2D-4244, $94.95 (Walnut Burl genuine wood). I first ordered the Rosewood, but I didn't care for it. It is a medium color, but it has very definite striping with dark black horizontal stripes in it. I had to return it which is a pain. I'm still waiting for a credit from the company. (http://www.carid.com/images/sherwood/da ... rials.html)

I hope this helps. Good luck.

how did you get it for 94.95?
while it says that it starts at that price, once i add that 2d-4224 -n50 with walnut burl genuine wood it raises it to $214.23
am i missing something?

Not bad at all. Maybe I'll have to bust out some CF Vinyl and get to work.

SOOO
I just bought and installed a Benevento kit I bought here for $118:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/190610966614

this was for my 2012 Rogue SV

The guy has all the Benevento standard colors you can see here:
http://www.beneventous.com/colors.aspx

I chose this company because they are one of the few that actually cover the window switch buttons (which IMHO is the most important part) and it is VERY CHEAP. CarID wanted about 200-300 for their sets and it doesn't even offer the switch covers.
I think most companies don't offer it because it is harder to do since the pieces are curved. It was hard for me to install it and while it looks very nice, it didn't go on perfectly and I had to remove and replace it before it looked nice.

I first asked the guy if he could custom make me the 2011 navigation surround piece (since I installed an aftermarket navigation system and being that the 2011 model has a perfect 2Din hole, and the 2012's slot is bigger, I replaced my 2012 piece with a 2011 one) with the rest being 2012 and he said that won't be a problem.
I then asked the guy for samples and he basically sent me all of them!
Anyway, the only "real" wood in the standard options is "Deville" which after I ordered it, he told me it was discontinued. He sent me a different color (Rose Zebrano) without even telling me it was discontinued, but once I messaged him he was very nice about it. He offered a discount to keep it, but I wasn't a fan of the color so I just exchanged it for Oxford Burlwood which is STUNNING!

See for yourself:
