2012 Rogue - USB Music Questions

Have a 2012 Rogue. Using a 16G San Disk - 2 questions:

1. Whats the recommended Windows File system to format with (FAT32, etc)

2. I placed about 200 songs on it all in individual folders (one per artist) - Every time the car is off, started again.. the random play function per song does not work.. It sometimes goes to the first artist alphabetically and plays all the folder, then a random artist.. But never stays on random song picking across all folders. Should I just store all files in th root folder? Am I doing something wrong?

Try placing all the files in the root directory that should solve your problem.
