Hi all ... Just bought a 2012 Rogue SV. Was excited to have a USB input (iPod or Flash Drive) so I can jam to MY music.
The 32GB USB drive
I set up worked perfectly the first time I inserted it, and the second time I started the vehicle ...
"Check Device". Removed the Flash Drive and still ... "Check Device".
Removed the factory USB port from the center console: STILL "Check Device".

Only conclusion is that my stereo isn't working properly (it's the one with the backup camera).

After doing my due diligence ...
I found that if I use a DIFFERENT USB Flash Drive, it works again ...

Yeah, I would have definitely checked other USBs or troubleshoot the USB device in question on a computer before doing any work on your vehicle, it likely just got corrupted or something, maybe lost power while playing a song, etc.
