Hello all,

So I finally got the maxfloormats (by Kramer Accessories) for my Nissan Rogue 2012 and installed them and here are my thoughts on them. Scroll down below see pics. I paid $140 for them shipped free to the Indiana. I live in Canada and was on my way down there for a wedding and planned ahead. I bought them off ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/160800896154?it ... _500wt_971.

You can see the pics on my google+ page here.
https://plus.google.com/photos/10656444 ... 7037409713

Cost:
For $140 shipped I can't complain. The matt is still great. If you're from Canada and considering shipping it north, I wouldn't look at this matt considering that its another $70 dollars to have it shipped to Canada which would bring the cost to $210 (That doesn't even include taxes and possibly duty/customs fees). You might as well get the weathertech since the shipping is included and if the fit and quality is as what everyone says it is, just pay the tax which totals comes out to $257.52CAD, and you get yourself some great matts. But if you're heading to the U.S. anyways and want a less expensive alternative but still good looks...I would consider these.

Installation:
Installation was pretty straight forward. Remove the old matts if you have any and replace with new ones.

Build Material:
The material it was made from is a plastic. I did actually look at the weathertech and the materials between both are different. The thickness of the maxfloormats seemed thinner but not by much. The weathertechs matts seemed softer. The weathertech is definitely not a rubber but a type of plastic. The maxfloormats was a harder plastic and smoother. I'll have to wait and see how they hold up to Canadian winters (ie. cracking) but they look durable enough, but I'll wait and see. They also do look like they are more prone to scratches due to the harder plastic vs the weathertechs and under heavy traffic they may see some abuse. But again, I'll wait and see how they hold up over time. I would have to give weathertech a slight edge for material feel but not much. I'll update after winter about durability.

Fit:
The fit of the maxfloormat is good. It's not perfect or awesome, but in my honest opinion it is good to very good. It won't slip or move around on you. It doesn't hug perfectly around on all edges but it does on the majority. Some of the corners seem to not sit perfectly while others are fine. You can see the pictures to see what I mean. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me because they actually do look really good in the car. It terms of holding in dirt/water, it's questionable. You can see that the lip around some of the edges are NOT very high (mainly the issue is in the 2nd row/back seating matt). I am questioning its ability to retain water in the matt vs it being pushed to the edges, especially during the winter when there will be snow and salt on the road. I'll have to update this thread once winter comes along to let you all know. I can't compare with weathertech since I've never seen anyone with a set for my car.

Looks:
Like I mentioned. The matts still look great in the car. The colour is matches perfectly and if the matt fit perfectly it would look like the car actually came with these matts. My coworker came in the car today and they didn't even notice they were there even though they've been in there many times. I think the weathertech and the maxfloormat are tied for looks here.

Conclusion:
I couldn't get all my points and details across but in short for $140 dollars the matts, so far, are a great matt for the price. I'll have to update this thread later on after I put some mileage on the matts (ie. after the first winter). For now, I can just say that Maxfloormat just needs to make a tighter fitting matt and raise those edges so the lip is higher and they've got a good product. Again, this is for a 2012 Nissan Rogue. Other cars may have better luck with the features of the matts.

And for those on a budget, this one from Wal*Mart for under $10 works just fine. It's made from a heavy gauge rubber and fits perfectly. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Remington-Ind ... k/15524384

It's generally just me in my vehicle, and on rare occassions my insignificant other. Now that I think about, it I've only twice had passangers in the rear seats, so I haven't seriously considred doing the full set. That being said, your review is one of the best I've seen, and I'm actually tempted to get a set. :bigthumb:

I bough some Michellin rubber mats from Walmart for like $30 bucks, and they are driving me nuts because they keep rolling forward. I guess it is better that nothing, until something better comes by...

I just checked the pics and those look like the Weathertech floor liners, and it kinda looks like the same material to me. My roommate has some Weathertech floor liners in his Toyota Tacoma and they feel kinda hard to the touch.

tranh2 thanks for the review.

Nice write up. Just looked at their website and the only color they have is black. I would like a different color. This would of been nice especially for the cargo area since these are way cheaper than weathertech.

The thing I don't like about those, it's that the mats for the back are two pieces and does not cover the hump.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pointing to Igor's hump] Good man. Didn't you, didn't you use to have that on the other side?
Igor: What?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Your, uh, oh nevermind.

I bought two sets of the MAXFLOORMATS Floor Liners, there was a mistake by the company so I only received one set... I installed the set I received on my girlfriend's 2012 Nissan Rogue (Black Interior)... And this is how they look:

I also ordered the cargo liner, I will add more pics when I have received and installed my mats and cargo liner on my rogue.

Thx for the review. It's what I used to help me buy my maxfloormats dor my rogue. I have nothing to compare it to but I like em. They hard a bit hard, I thought they'd be of the softer varity. It's been 2 weeks and nothing wrong. Thx!

I actually like the material from the MAXFLOORMATS Liners, more than the Weathertech Liners. The Weathertech liners are harder to the touch (harder plastic), which I don't like. I'm just comparing to the liners my buddy has in his Tacoma, and I bet Weathetech uses the same materials for all their floor liners.

Your mats look nice. I have the Rogue all weather mats and I like them a lot. They don't cover the hump, but unless you have kids or frequently have 3 people riding in the back seat, I don't really see the need. I don't like the carpet mats at all. They are so much easier to clean no matter what season it is...
