Hello all,
So I finally got the maxfloormats (by Kramer Accessories) for my Nissan Rogue 2012 and installed them and here are my thoughts on them. Scroll down below see pics. I paid $140 for them shipped free to the Indiana. I live in Canada and was on my way down there for a wedding and planned ahead. I bought them off ebay (

Cost:
For $140 shipped I can't complain. The matt is still great. If you're from Canada and considering shipping it north, I wouldn't look at this matt considering that its another $70 dollars to have it shipped to Canada which would bring the cost to $210 (That doesn't even include taxes and possibly duty/customs fees). You might as well get the weathertech since the shipping is included and if the fit and quality is as what everyone says it is, just pay the tax which totals comes out to $257.52CAD, and you get yourself some great matts. But if you're heading to the U.S. anyways and want a less expensive alternative but still good looks...I would consider these.
Installation:
Installation was pretty straight forward. Remove the old matts if you have any and replace with new ones.
Build Material:
The material it was made from is a plastic. I did actually look at the weathertech and the materials between both are different. The thickness of the maxfloormats seemed thinner but not by much. The weathertechs matts seemed softer. The weathertech is definitely not a rubber but a type of plastic. The maxfloormats was a harder plastic and smoother. I'll have to wait and see how they hold up to Canadian winters (ie. cracking) but they look durable enough, but I'll wait and see. They also do look like they are more prone to scratches due to the harder plastic vs the weathertechs and under heavy traffic they may see some abuse. But again, I'll wait and see how they hold up over time. I would have to give weathertech a slight edge for material feel but not much. I'll update after winter about durability.
Fit:
The fit of the maxfloormat is good. It's not perfect or awesome, but in my honest opinion it is good to very good. It won't slip or move around on you. It doesn't hug perfectly around on all edges but it does on the majority. Some of the corners seem to not sit perfectly while others are fine. You can see the pictures to see what I mean. Honestly, it doesn't really bother me because they actually do look really good in the car. It terms of holding in dirt/water, it's questionable. You can see that the lip around some of the edges are NOT very high (mainly the issue is in the 2nd row/back seating matt). I am questioning its ability to retain water in the matt vs it being pushed to the edges, especially during the winter when there will be snow and salt on the road. I'll have to update this thread once winter comes along to let you all know. I can't compare with weathertech since I've never seen anyone with a set for my car.
Looks:
Like I mentioned. The matts still look great in the car. The colour is matches perfectly and if the matt fit perfectly it would look like the car actually came with these matts. My coworker came in the car today and they didn't even notice they were there even though they've been in there many times. I think the weathertech and the maxfloormat are tied for looks here.
Conclusion:
I couldn't get all my points and details across but in short for $140 dollars the matts, so far, are a great matt for the price. I'll have to update this thread later on after I put some mileage on the matts (ie. after the first winter). For now, I can just say that Maxfloormat just needs to make a tighter fitting matt and raise those edges so the lip is higher and they've got a good product. Again, this is for a 2012 Nissan Rogue. Other cars may have better luck with the features of the matts.
