Hi all,

I have searched the forums and 'net for a solution to my problem. Both of the front console 2nd-row seat flip switches of my 2012 QX56 don't work. Given that both don't work, I believe it's an electrical issue, not a switch issue. I combed the online FSM chapters for a solution, but couldn't find anything relating to those switches. I can't even determine what fuse they are on and where that fuse might be located (driver's side or in the engine bay). The "forward matter" pdf shows a "Seat - SE" section, but that is not included in the chapters online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, it doesn't appear to be under the 2013 either. I'll let the powers that be know it's missing. Meanwhile you can use the one from the 2011 FSM. http://www.nicoclub.com/service-manual?fsm=QX56/2011/SE

Hi Rogue One. Thank you for your reply. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I didn't even think of checking the '11 and '13 FSMs... That link did work, and I was able to view the wiring diagram. I suspect it's the 10A fuse or maybe the 30A one, but i can't for the life of me figure out where they reside... I'll keep looking and digging.

Thanks again!

there is a fuse panel on the passenger side as well as the drivers side under the dash.

SOLVED: As suspected, the 2nd row seat flip switch and the clock are, in fact, on the same fuse. I overlooked this fuse so many times. I've downloaded and printed the SE and PG sections of the FSM and have read and re-read the wiring diagrams and could not figure out where the fuse was located.

I finally looked at the end of the PG chapter because I wanted to look at battery info, and lo-and-behold there were diagrams of the actual fuse blocks! I could tell it was located on the driver's side because of the connection numbers and where they connected to the main harness. At first I thought it was behind the driver's kick panel, but when I removed it all I found were harness connections. Then I looked at the fuse block in the lower dash and looked at the diagram on the cover, and there it was: the long-term storage disconnect at fuse location 6! I gave it a push, and it re-seated the fuse, and both my seat switches work and the clock has started running!

Thanks to Rogue One and marctronixx for your suggestions and help with the FSM SE chapter direction.
