2012 quest engine replacement

Thanks for add new to the group! I recently bought a 2012 nissan quest with a bad motor. I found a motor from a 2010 maxima I was wondering if it's compatible with my van? TIA!

That's actually more of a question for a JY guy than me, but I can tell you for sure the short blocks have different p/n's. So something is different, although I can't tell you exactly what. What does have an identical short block is the '08~'14 Murano.

How many miles on the van? Do you know the vehicle history? Before you put money and labor in the engine, are you confirmed that the CVT is OK?
