2012 Nissan Rogue Headlight Issue

Hello: I have an issue with my Nisan Rogue Headlights. The headlights only turn on when I have them in the auto set option. If I switch over to Manual the headlights will not turn on.. Anyone experience this before? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks !!

That sounds like a bad switch. The switches are matrix types and the headlight command actually goes from the BCM to the IPDM by CANbus message, so if the lights work on Auto, the problem has to be on the side of the BCM and switch. Most likely the switch contact for the "on" position is worn out or broken.
