Is it possible to take a 2012 Nav/Radio/Bluetooth and put it into a 2008 Rogue? The dealership says No, but I find that hard to believe. I would love to have Nav, backup camera, and music sync with my iphone.

I believe it's more then just the headunit. I think you need the wiring for the nav/bluetooth from a donor car, and possibly more.

Sorry, they're right. The easy one is the Bluetooth which requires an external pick up mike. The Nav system is a lot more complex, and I suppose you're looking at a head unit with XM Radio too. So you'll need the parts shown below.

In my opinion ANY oem nav system are junk. First of all you get limited driving functions which most of the time can not get bypassed. These systems are always overpriced and if you don't have it from the factory then it's cheaper to trade in your vehicle and get the one that has all toys and whistles. Any updates (such as maps) will not be free. The conclusion...get any aftermarket nav unit such as blaupunkt, kenwood, pioneer etc.

I agree with you 100% but I like the look of a factory entertainment center. IT has been my experience that after market systems look out of place especially in the Rogue with the large round air vents. But maybe I just havent found the right one. I'll explore more options.

Thanks to everyone for their input!!
