2012 Murano Climate Control

Is it normal to have to press the auto button on the climate control every time you start the vehicle? Every other car I have owned just resumed whatever was set as soon as the car started. Am I doing something wrong?

Since no one answered I figured it out myself, the dealer left the car in transport mode and had to program it to normal mode.
