Hey everyone, about to drop mine off next week for the timing chain recall and 30,000 mile service, and I wanted to address this issue too, but don't know what exactly what part(s) it could be; so any help narrowing it down is appreciated.

2012 M56 Base with 29,000 miles on it. When I initially go slowly forward/reverse or go over a bump slowly the front suspension makes a creaking sound, like opening an old door slowly that needs some wd40.
My 2006 M45 made the same sound after about 80,000 miles. I live in the desert, so I'm sure something is dried out and needs lube, just not sure what it is. :gotme

Thanks everyone.

I know sometimes when brakes have moisture (like when it rains or after a car wash) it can seemingly creak like that when you slowly go forward since basically what is happening is they can't make good contact with the rotor until everything warms up and dries out or what have you. You sure it's your suspension?

yeah, real sure it's the suspension. it's when the front end lifts up (going forward) or dips down (reverse) that it makes the sound. it's very difficult to replicate trying to push on the hood though. this is an all the time thing, not moisture related.. and i live in the desert and moisture doesn't exist... haha.. :chuckle:

Not sure...I'd definitely have Infiniti look at it when it's in there. Without a video replicating the issue it may be hard for us online guys to troubleshoot it.
