So i have a 2012 infiniti m37s
My rear driver passenger side door is stuck, doesnt open from the inside or outside. The actuator is done. Any way of knowing how to release it or open it? Also my sunroof is leaking and my driver side rear passesnger floor is wet. Cant remove the headliner without opening the door and how do you remove the rear deck wall seats?

Updated thread title. Sounds like quite the predicament...maybe something a local lock smith can help with? They have all sorts of nifty tools I'm sure to open cars.

Yankee10522,

The actuator is more of a convenience for remotely unlocking the door. To the best of my knowledge the doors are still unlock and open via cable. The actuator simply pulls the cable. That being said - the cable should still be able to open the door as long as it has not jumped out of its groove. Since you say the door cannot be unlocked and opened from inside the car, I assume that both cables have jumped out of their grooves. Reconnecting them might be a little tricky because it involves taking the door panel off.

If your sunroof is leaking it's because the plastic drain hose to the sunroof is clogged. if you have access to compressed air I'd try that first to see if I could blow out any debris. Hope this helps.
