so my car has the xenon hid and they arent as bright as other aftermarket HIDs ive had in other cars. Would an LED conversion be hard to do since to back of headlight has that dome covering with the bulb sealed in there. might have to drill a hole in the back of the dome.

Well the dome is a projection lens. I wouldn't be drilling in those or modifying them you'll regret it. If you want them to be brighter there's a few things you could do to enhance them. Start by cleaning the headlight house cover, I would suggest sanding, buffing, and adding a clear coat or polymer layer so they are crystal clear again. Then more than like the same bulb and ballast has been in there since the beginning of time. So replace those.
