My M37 alarm is so sensitive it goes off if you look sideways at it!!
I watched a you tube video where they showed a sensitivity adjustment unit in the passenger kick panel. Had mine opened and nothing like it there. Anyone had this issue and resolved it?

Have a dealer check it out. From the factory, the M doesn't have motion sensors that can get triggered if too sensitive. The security system is the traditional "was a key used to gain entry?" system

There might be an aftermarket system that is too sensitive, or your car might be going nuts.

There was a dealer offered shock sensor. Has a knob on it that reduces sensitivity. Should be ziptied and wrapped in foam under the driver knee bolster area.

I opted for the shock sensor when I bought mine, your right, it's pretty sensitive, I've asked my dealer about this numerous times and they were absolutely clueless. Even asked corporate and they referred me to the dealer. I finally just gave up. I'll have to go hunting for that adjustment.

hmmmm. Ok, I'll check the knee bolster area. I did, however, figure a good way to bypass it. When you shut off the car the doors automatically open, but I lock them with the power button then unlock manually, open the door, manually lock it and close. No alarm noise!!! Then again when the car gets stolen I permanently won't have to worry about it going off!!
